Office in focus – RealWay Maroochy North Shore
It was great to visit RealWay Maroochy Northshore and spend
time with principals Robert and Barbara Winch last Thursday. The Office is situated near the
beach in a very attractive area with restaurants nearby and an outlook to a
park.
What was really interesting was the ‘small is beautiful’
approach the business has successfully adopted since joining The RealWay group
in 2003. The office has a strong market share and deep knowledge of the local
area and uses part time rather than full time support. While this means long
weeks for Robert and Barbara it certainly leads to lower costs. The attention to
detail in the office layout is obviously replicated in the service for clients.
One client recently called Robert and said “are you the bloke who sold a house for me 15 years ago”. He was so happy
with the service he wanted Robert to sell his daughter’s property.
The approach is obviously paying off as the office has sold
eight properties in eight weeks.
Tips from experience
Some tips from Robert and his many years of experience are
to run a flat screen television in the window 24 hours a day from a computer using
Microsoft Powerpoint. He also uses a sign company to put up and take down ‘ for sale’ sign in a white frame for a fixed fee
of $60. A margin can then be added to this cost. I understand Russell Smith at
our Caloundra office also uses this or a similar service as it reduces
vandalism and ensures the brand looks good on the kerbside.
Having experienced a number of other real estate franchise
groups and a period as an independent, Robert and Barbara are strong believers
in the RealWay brand and see the time is ripe to expand the number of offices.

Well done guys!
Glad to hear you’re hitting goals!! Well done
