RealWay Mount Isa Lends a Real Hand!

This year, McHappy Day celebrates its 20th anniversary! Ronald McDonald House Charities are aiming for a record fundraising goal of $3 million, and Kath Andersen and the team from RealWay Mount Isa have done their part to help the charity achieve this goal.

On Saturday 12th November, twelve of the fourteen members of the Mount Isa RealWay Team headed to their local McDonalds to flip burgers and raise money to ‘do their bit’ for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. This is the second year that RealWay Mount Isa has participated in the annual event. The RealWay team had a fantastic afternoon at the local McDonalds restaurant, and they are already looking forward to McHappy Day 2012!

RealWay Mount Isa thoroughly enjoys supporting their community and regularly participate in other local events. This year they have raised an incredible $2,000 for St Joseph’s school in Mount Isa while also sponsoring their local Junior Tennis. To add to their community spirit even further, RealWay Mount Isa is currently looking to sponsor a local basketball and football team in the coming year.
